Bomba Demonstration
Join master folk musician José Emmanuelli for an interactive demonstration of bomba drumming. Bomba is an ancestral Puerto Rican music and dance tradition, born of African influences. José has dedicated his career to studying, composing, teaching, and performing Afro-Puerto Rican music and is best known for his successful initiative to revive the almost-extinct bomba dance parties in Puerto Rico.
